Just a note to Connolly
Mr. Connolly....how should I say this. Please, for both of our pride, don't just post a random comment saying that my work here is good. First of all, I know it's not, this is not my best work. It's mostly going to be poetry, which i'm not good at and i only write to let my raw emotions out. Secondly, i'd rather have constructive critisim than "that's real creative. don't give up" or something like that (not to say that I don't like compliments. I most certainly do.) Third, I don't know about the other kids, but it is kind of...i don't know...insincere when you right a positive comment on everyone's blog. It seems kind of pointless. I mean, if you have a serious compliment for my work, that's fine and all, but i'm sure you won't have one every time you check my blog, so don't just lie. Well, i'm done now. Just letting you know that.

Thanks for the note. I will do my best to offer constructive criticism. I assure you though that all of my comments are sincere. I consider the blog and the notebooks beginnings, and therefore focus on the ideas. I believe that it is important that we act as fellow writers and teachers in this class, and not as critics. However, if I don't understand or connect with a piece as a reader, I will be honest about it, and I hope everyone will do the same. Thanks for the feedback.
