Just a note to Connolly

Mr. Connolly....how should I say this. Please, for both of our pride, don't just post a random comment saying that my work here is good. First of all, I know it's not, this is not my best work. It's mostly going to be poetry, which i'm not good at and i only write to let my raw emotions out. Secondly, i'd rather have constructive critisim than "that's real creative. don't give up" or something like that (not to say that I don't like compliments. I most certainly do.) Third, I don't know about the other kids, but it is kind of...i don't know...insincere when you right a positive comment on everyone's blog. It seems kind of pointless. I mean, if you have a serious compliment for my work, that's fine and all, but i'm sure you won't have one every time you check my blog, so don't just lie. Well, i'm done now. Just letting you know that.

Happy

You make me happy,
Something I didn't think I could be,
You laugh at my jokes,
Blow off my insercurities,
Challenge my beliefs,
Force me to learn,
Cherish my quirks,
Trained me to forgive,
Encourage my dreams,
Even when they are stupid,
You let me be myself,
You love me exactly how I am,
Put up with all the embarassment I cause,
And comfort me whenever i'm down,
You make me feel wonderful,
You love me,
You make me feel so happy,
Thanks.

Kiss me

Kiss me,
I can lose myself in it,
If only I could lose myself at anytime,
To let myself go,
Drift into that oblivious bliss,
To melt and flow,
Truly happy,
Truly believing,
But I can only feel it with you,
That complete unworried unfaltering joy,
Only with you,
Kiss me.

I was a little sad

Beautiful,
Ignorant,
Confused,
Lovely,
Caring,
Selfish,
Hurting me,
Loving me,
Talk to me, silent,
Tell me you love me,
I'm holding you,
Holding you back,
I can't let you go,
Don't make me,
I want to,
You need me to,
If only I could disappear for half a year,
Then it would all work itself out,
But I can't,
It's forever or never,
So i'll stay,
My knuckles turning white; holding on,
You won't leave,
Maybe you should,
But you won't
And that makes me happy.

Conflicts Galore

Well, I am to "brainstorm" some conflict ideas. Hmmmm, well, lets see.....how about conflict between a murderer/pervert's will to do good and their consuming lust for violence. Or how about another internal conflict, like a young man with AIDS struggling between his hormones and want of revenge and his morals. Or even the struggle between living with such a horrible condition or dying (but who knows what lies beyond?). I think those are some interesting conflict ideas. Or how about some person to person conflicts, like the leaders of waring gangs or a women torn between the love of her husband or lover (which is actually kind of internal...). Well, i'm not going to share ALL of my ideas with you (you'd probably steal them, you meanies) so I guess i'm done. And i'm rather suprised you're still reading this.

Hello everybody!

Well, hello...this is my blog. I am being forced to make it for my creative writing class, so you can come read the crap I write if you want to. I do plan on becoming an author someday, so hopefully you won't think its ALL crap, but everyone has the right to their own opinion. Um, hmmm, what should I tell you about myself. I love books, especially Cat's Cradle, Slaughterhouse Five, Galapagos, Time Quake, Breakfast of Champions, (basically anything by Kurt Vonnegut) and I also love A Clockwork Orange, The Catcher in the Rye, Night, Jurassic Park, Congo, It, Johnathon Livingston Seagull, The Little Prince, Without Feathers, Lady Chatterley's Lover, umm (i'm trying to think of all the books i've read recently that I liked) Well, basically I like all books. Except cheesy romance novels (Lady Chatterley's Lover is not cheesy) and I don't like stupid "action" books. Well, i'm done.
